Estimates, not engineering advice

EnoughAmps estimates panel capacity with the optional method in NEC® 220.83 using the information you enter and typical default values. Results are not an engineering design, a permit document or a substitute for a licensed electrician. Local codes, adopted editions and inspector interpretations vary.

Never open the inner cover of your electrical panel. Any electrical work must be done by a qualified person and inspected where required. Decisions about equipment and upgrades are yours and your electrician’s.
